Replacement and Protection of Sand Rollers

After a period of use, both the rice‑milling output and precision of the sand rollers will decline—this is a normal occurrence. If output drops, when conditions permit, remove the sand rollers and lightly resurface the helical grooves with a handheld grinding wheel; this usually restores production levels. For reduced precision, adjust the pressure lever or fine‑tune the rice‑cutting blade as needed. Before replacing the sand rollers, carefully inspect other components in the whitening chamber—such as the helical conveyor and rice‑diverting device—to ensure they are functioning properly; otherwise, even after replacement, the results may remain subpar.
Abrasive rollers are fragile; handle them with care during transport to prevent drops or impacts, and do not allow them to roll. When storing, protect them from moisture, freezing, and excessive heat, and do not store them together with acids, alkalis, or oils. For resin‑based abrasive rollers, if stored for more than one year, a rotational inspection must be performed, and they may only be used after passing this inspection.
