The working principle of a rice mill

Category:

Release time:2020-07-21

The operating principle of a rice mill is a complex process; to gain a thorough understanding, one must consult specialized technical literature.
Simply put, after brown rice passes through the whitening chamber of a rice polishing machine, the combined action of internal pressure, the rotation of steel or sand rollers, and air‑blowing from a fan causes thorough friction and abrasion between rice grains, between the grains and the sieve plates, and between the grains and the polishing rollers. This process removes the outer bran layer and slightly moistens the grains, resulting in a smooth, lustrous appearance.
